Here’s the deal, from what I can understand. Amazon, like all good retailers, is gearing up for Black Friday. But because they are — you know — on the internet and not in a storefront, you don’t have to fear getting trampled by crazy mothers desperate to rip the Tickle Me Elmo box right out of your hands and then brain you with it. Instead, Amazon is just going to pick out select customers to be eligible for their Black Bargains.

And how, I hear you ask, do I make myself eligible to be picked for this lovely privilege? Simple — you vote. Vote on what, I hear you ask. Boy, are you full of questions. Well, you vote on which product you want to get a bargain on. Yeah, that’s right. Amazon is having a contest: they suggest several crazy bargains on several items — for instance, a Nintendo Wii for $79. The item which gets the most votes will be sold to customers selected from those who participated in the voting process. And yes, the Wii is up for vote in the current round. What are you waiting for? Go vote! Even if you’ve already got a Wii, I’m sure you could turn a sweet profit on a $79 Wii. Or, you know, have two Wiis.
