Torrel Launches Nintendo Line

Now I love me some classic video game themed clothing as much as the next guy — I even own a pair of Nintendo themed boxers — but I’m just not quite sure how I feel about the new Nintendo line just launched by clothing company Torrel. The best word to describe the line is probably “garish,” or possibly “loud.” The second best word to describe them is “expensive,” because when it comes to Torrel you can expect to drop a solid 50 bucks on their high standard merch. The clothing features secondary (but still highly recognizable) characters such as Torpedo Ted and Bob-omb as well as other familiar Mario-esque items like the star, the original game cover, and of course the mushroom. In addition to classic Mario imagery there is also a bit of love for a few other classic games, including Duck Hunt, Wild Gunman, and Donkey Kong. Swing by Torrel if you want to check out the line, but expect to spend some serious cash if you actually want to buy something.
