No More Tempting Wii Ads For the UK

Nintendo have eventually decided to stop teasing all those poor people out hunting down Wii’s this Christmas. They’ve decided to stop advertising the Wii in the UK in the run up to Christmas because they simply can’t meet the demand for it.
Over the last few months, the Wii fervor has continued to escalate and most shops are selling out within minutes, assuming that they even get stock in the first place. We all know how demoralising it is when you can’t get what you want for Christmas, or worse still, can’t get someone else what they want.
A Nintendo spokesman has stated they want to be responsible and ‘not fuel demand’, but it would seem it’s already too late by this stage. It seems that the last chance for some is paying an over inflated price on eBay for it. Maybe it won’t be such a Wiionderful Christmas afterall.
