If Kotaku is on the money here, a rather large leak has escaped from Nintendo regarding Mario Galaxy. Nintendo is typically very good at hiding their crazy secrets, so seeing something this big is unexpected to say the least, but very exciting. Kotaku claims to have secured a page from the Galaxy strategy guide which reveals an interesting reward should you tough it out and secure all 120 stars. And as all good gamers play to the bitter end, I’m very sure you will. In interest of not spoiling it for those of you who wish to remain pure, we’ve hidden the 120 star reward below the jump.

Weeee, it is Luigi!  Yes friends, we can finally welcome back the green clad Mario Brother as a playable character in a straight up Mario title. Dude hangs around in Smash Brothers, Kart, and pretty much ever other Mario title imaginable, but we haven’t actually been able to don the green jumpsuit and play as the guy in a mainline Mario title in ages.* Win yourself all 120 stars in Galaxy, however, and the joy of Luigi — complete with higher, further jumps and a slight trouble in stopping! — can be yours again.  If this turns out to be true, I will be sending a hearty letter of thanks to Nintendo Company.

*Excepting the DS port of Mario 64, of course.
