Lucky Wii on Ebay for 1.2 Million

Posted on December 06th, 2007 by Angela in Weird Wii News

Lucky WiiYes you read it right, someone has put a Wii on Ebay with an asking price of $1,234,567.89. The reason for the extortion, the Wii is lucky and if you do buy it you’ll get lots of attention. Yes, one would think lot’s of attention for being a schmuck with too much money.

The system is just a Wii, but apparently has magical properties. The seller seems to be hoping some casino with more money than sense will purchase the Wii so they get an insane amount of publicity. If it wasn’t so completely mad it might actually have been an act of genius.

Speaking of Wii’s for sale, I have a US Wii, with stepdown converter and various games for sale. No sadly it isn’t magical or lucky (to my knowledge), though I do think I saw fairies dancing around it late one night, so you never can tell. Perhaps I should stick it on Ebay with the byline “Lucky Fairy Loved Wii”. Ya think?
