According to an alleged release leak LEGO Indiana Jones is set to release in Australia sooner than expected. A couple of Australian sites have claimed the title will be released Q2 down under, meaning between April 1 and the end of June.

Traveller’s Tales is developing the LEGO Indiana Jones title, along with LEGO Batman the video game which has a slated release of around August this year over all formats including the Wii. Batman was expected by many to release prior to Indiana Jones.

Previous news had reported LEGO Indiana Jones would release at the end of June this year, which is still in keeping with the Q2 release being bandied about today. Time will tell, either way, I’ll be whip cracking and pistol toting as soon as this title hits as I love Indy and the LEGO titles thus far released by Traveller’s Tales.

UPDATE: I contacted the PR for the publisher in Australia rather than listen to rumor alone and the official line was no release details as yet, but it should be around the time the film is released (which in Australia is May 22).
