Johnny Chung Lee is my hero!

Johnny Chung LeeOkay so I hadn’t heard of this guy before today, now he is my Wii hero, he’s done such amazing things with the Wiimote that I have to share them with you. They’re so superb that they’re going to make up my posts for today, trust me, you will find each and every one interesting, if not utterly amazing.

Johnny Chung Lee is a Ph.D Grad Student at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He’s done loads of work on projector-based tracking and locational stuff, and you’ll see how he utilises this knowledge with some of his Wii projects.

I truly hope some developers and peripheral designers get together with Nintendo and this guy, because if they did the Wii would be mind blowing with regards to the possibilities within gaming. Anyway I’ll waffle no more about how cool I think Johnny is, I’ll just let you see some of his stuff yourselves (they posted directly below this post, for continuity - be sure to check them out!).
