There a twittering about the interweb that the Spielberg backed puzzle game BOOM BLOX will feature head tracking. If you’re not sure what that is, you definitely have to check out the video we covered back in December where clever guy Johnny Chung Lee shows us just how cool this feature can be.

Sadly for BOOM BLOX the feature is only said to be an easter egg, so don’t be expecting the game to come packaged with some sort of funky headset that follows your every move.

The cool thing about this is, it’s a start and will hopefully show what this sort of feature will be capable of. Rumor also has it this easter egg may only be for die hard geeks as you’ll have to come up with your own LED headset. I’m geeky enough that if the easter egg is indeed there I’ll get one together.
