This week Australia finally saw the release of Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros Treasure, I gleefully headed into the store and picked up my copy. I did wonder how this would go, because any friends I have in the US have raved this title so much I figured if anything it was going to be good, but a letdown based on all the praise.

I’m thrilled to say it wasn’t. What a brilliant game. Seriously if you don’t have Zack & Wiki for your Wii, go out and get it today, don’t hang about. This is one of those sleeper titles that perhaps didn’t have the hype surrounding it that something like Super Smash Bros, or Mario might have, and therefore won’t have sales like those, but it truly deserves to.

Here’s a trailer… the ways in which this game uses the Wiimote makes it worth the purchase alone and that’s without the cool characters, insane puzzles and overall story.
