Charge It

Trust me friends, if you own a Wii and haven’t already purchased at least one of Nyko’s handy Wii Remote Charge Stations, you are doing it wrong. While the Wii Remotes certainly get reasonable battery life, there is absolutely no reason to be switching those suckers in and out every time you run out of power. The absolute best Wii related purchase I’ve made so far is a Charge Station — and no, I’m not shilling for the company. The reason Nyko is getting this freebie advertisement from me is because you can now purchase the handy device for an easy twenty bucks, and that’s too good of a deal to not share with my fellow Wii owners. Trust me, you’ll be glad you bought it.
And while we’re on the subject, what other handy Wii accessories do you find yourself unable to live without? Yours truly employs a cooling unit, but not much else. I’m occasionally inclined to purchase a wireless motion sensor bar, but I haven’t made that leap yet. I tried out a “remote sleeve” or some such to transform the standard white remote into a nifty looking green color, but that experiment failed miserably. What would you suggest I buy to trick out my Wii?

if you want to trick out your wii then get one of the skins that you can put on your wii, they make some where they just slide over and you don’t have to disassemble your wii.

As the owner of way too many gadgets, I have tried to standardize on batteries and memory. My digital cameras and MP3 players all use regular batteries and SD memory, so I just took some of the AA rechargeables that I have and popped them in and I am all set. Have not purchased any disposable in years.
