Band Mashups For Wii

Maybe you’re intrigued by the current influx of rock and roll rhythm games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but just quite haven’t found the one to tickle your fancy yet. Maybe the current offerings are lacking just … something … to pull you in for a play. Planet Moon thinks they know what that something is, and they are bringing you a game to fill that need. What does Planet Moon think you want from your rock music video game? Why, what any video game wants, of course: projectile attacks.
Yes, my friends, here comes Band Mashups, a game that takes away what many consider to be the biggest draw of music genre games — namely the ability to rock out on your instrument of choice — in favor of something a little different. You don’t want to be a Rock Star, right? You want to be … the conductor. Everyone knows that is where the real glory is anyway, right? The game features 5 styles of music which players use to compete each other in what seems to be a battle-of-the-bands sort of deal. And while you are conducting Blitzkrieg Bop in Funk and your opponent is counter-conducting it in Country, you can fling projectiles at each other to gain the edge. Yup. Really.
