Guitar Hero 3 Wii disc replacements Feb

Activision are still picking up the pieces from their Guitar Hero 3 FUBAR with the sound on that particular edition of the game, but replacements discs should start moving within only a few weeks.

In an email from the publisher they state “We expect to have the replacement discs available in February.” Some may say a fairly hefty wait given the game released with the problem at the end of October.

For those that may have missed this news, the Wii edition of Guitar Hero 3  had sound that was mono. You might not think that was such a big deal, but the Wii version was the only version affected and for a game that has it’s whole play mechanic based on sound, it was seen as a major error by the company and some gamers quickly rallied against it.
