Link’s Crossbow Training - Out Now!

… if you’re in the US, if you’re anywhere else it’s released mid December (why do I feel like I’m repeating my woes of staggered release dates?). Anyway, personal annoyances aside, today is the day you can get your hands on the Wii Zapper, which comes with Link’s Crossbow training. (At time of writing for me, it’s actually yesterday–on the offchance people think I’ve got my dates wrong).

Link’s Crossbow Training is a mini game bundled with the Wii Zapper and features 27 levels of crossbow action. The differing sections include ‘Target Shooting’, ‘Defender’ and ‘Ranger’. Essentially this is a title that is there to show you just how to use the Wii Zapper and how much fun it can be to do so. Setting it in the Zelda universe probably won’t hurt its sales either.

Some reviews of the title have been pretty harsh saying it’s too short, given this is only a pre-packaged add-on for the peripheral, we think that’s a bit over the top. You’re paying about five bucks for this game, and with 27 levels, that’s good value in anyones money!
